Used to dry and cure tobacco, thousands of these buildings dotted the landscape of Norfolk County in Southern Ontario, Canada. Obsolete now, and replaced with more efficient methods, the few Standard Kilns that are still (barely) standing, are the ghosts of a bygone era.
